Price the same room on two sets of dates before you book anything. Sunday through Thursday routinely runs 40–60% less than Friday and Saturday for an identical room.
And the price you first see is almost never the price you pay. Checked on 14 August 2026: Excalibur listed at $6.43 a night — with a mandatory $51.02 nightly resort fee disclosed one click deeper, plus a $50 daily deposit. The fee was eight times the room rate. That is not one bad site; it is how every Strip booking page works. Always open the full breakdown before you compare anything.
