Vegas Uncut is one person walking the Las Vegas Strip with a camera. The walks are free to watch and the guides on this site are free to read. This page explains how the site pays for itself, so you can decide for yourself how much to trust a recommendation.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to book a hotel, buy a ticket, or make a purchase, Vegas Uncut may earn a commission from the seller. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the seller's side, never added to yours.
As of the date above, the partners are:
- Klook — hotel bookings (the /hotels link)
- TicketNetwork — show, concert and event tickets (the /tickets link)
- Veritickets, BookSeats and VEGAS.com through the Impact partner network — tickets, shows and attractions on the event calendar
Partners change. When one is added or dropped, this list is updated and the date at the top changes.
Why the links look like thevegasuncut.com addresses. Commercial links on this site, in the free guide and in emails all point at pages on this domain (for example /hotels), and that page forwards you to the partner. That is deliberate: it means a partner can be swapped without re-issuing a PDF that is already on your phone, and it means every money link is one we control. Nothing about your visit is sold or shared in the process — see the privacy page.
What a commission does not do
It never changes what gets recommended. If a hotel's resort fee is eight times its advertised nightly rate, the guide says so — even when the booking link on that page is an affiliate link to the same hotel. The measured numbers in the guides (walk times, prices, fees) are things that were actually walked, photographed or paid for, and each one carries the date it was checked. When a number is old, it says so.
If a recommendation ever reads like it was written to earn a click rather than to help, email hello@thevegasuncut.com and say so.
Sponsorships and free stuff
No hotel, show, restaurant or attraction has paid to appear on this site or in a video, and none has provided free rooms, tickets or meals in exchange for coverage. If that ever changes, the page or video will say so at the top, in plain words, before the content starts.
YouTube
The Vegas Uncut YouTube channel is part of the YouTube Partner Program, which means YouTube shows ads on the videos and shares the revenue. Those ads are chosen by YouTube, not by Vegas Uncut, and an ad appearing next to a walk is not an endorsement of whatever it's selling.
The free guide
The Vegas First-Timer Guide is free in exchange for an email address. The links inside it are the same links described above. You can unsubscribe from the emails at any time and keep the guide.
